This research project delves into the realm of land art and environmental sculpture, examining the intersection of art and nature. Land art, a movement that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s, challenges traditional notions of art by utilizing the earth itself as a canvas and medium. Environmental sculpture similarly engages with the environment, often incorporating natural materials and landscapes into sculptural installations. Through a multidisciplinary approach encompassing art history, environmental studies, and cultural theory, this study seeks to explore the significance of land art and environmental sculpture in contemporary artistic practice, their impact on environmental consciousness, and their potential role in addressing pressing ecological concerns.
