Climate change is a pressing global issue that directly impacts coastal ecosystems, posing significant challenges to their sustainability and resilience. This thesis aims to assess the impact of climate change on coastal ecosystems and develop strategies for their sustainable management. The research employs a multidisciplinary approach, integrating ecological, social, and economic perspectives to address the complex interactions within coastal environments. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, highlighting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions. The literature review in Chapter 2 examines ten critical topics related to climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems, including sea-level rise, ocean acidification, biodiversity loss, and community vulnerability. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, which includes eight key components such as data collection methods, sampling techniques, analytical tools, and stakeholder engagement strategies. The discussion of findings in Chapter 4 presents a detailed analysis of the research results, focusing on the observed impacts of climate change on coastal ecosystems and the effectiveness of various management strategies. The conclusion in Chapter 5 summarizes the key findings and implications of the study, highlighting the importance of proactive measures to address climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems.
