Wetlands are vital ecosystems that provide numerous ecological services, including biodiversity conservation and water quality improvement. However, these ecosystems are increasingly threatened by human activities, leading to degradation and loss. Wetland restoration has emerged as a crucial strategy to mitigate these impacts and restore ecosystem functions. This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of wetland restoration for biodiversity conservation and water quality improvement.
