Green roof technology has emerged as a sustainable solution to mitigate these challenges by incorporating vegetation on building rooftops. This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of green roof technology in urban environmental management. The study will focus on evaluating the impact of green roofs on reducing urban heat island effects, improving air quality, and managing stormwater runoff. The research methodology will involve a comprehensive literature review to analyze existing studies on green roof technology and its environmental benefits. In addition, field studies will be conducted to collect data on the performance of green roofs in real urban settings. The data will be analyzed using statistical methods to evaluate the effectiveness of green roofs in addressing environmental issues. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of green roof technology in urban environmental management.
