This thesis investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on economic growth in developing countries. The study aims to provide insights into the relationship between FDI and economic growth, particularly in the context of developing countries. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of data from various developing countries and qualitative assessment through case studies. The introduction sets the stage by presenting the background of the study, highlighting the importance of FDI as a driver of economic growth and development in developing countries. The problem statement identifies the gaps in existing literature and underscores the need for a comprehensive analysis of the impact of FDI on economic growth in these countries. The objectives of the study include examining the trends of FDI inflows, analyzing their effects on key economic indicators such as GDP growth and employment, and assessing the policy implications for promoting sustainable economic development. The literature review critically evaluates existing theories and empirical studies on the relationship between FDI and economic growth.
