This thesis explores the impact of social media on the evolution of language. In recent years, social media platforms have become integral parts of daily communication, influencing the way individuals interact and express themselves. This study aims to investigate how social media platforms have contributed to the evolution of language, including the emergence of new words, phrases, and communication styles. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research examines the existing scholarship on the relationship between social media and language evolution, highlighting key theories and findings in the field. The methodology employed in this study involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection methods include content analysis of social media posts, interviews with language experts, and surveys to gather insights from social media users.
