Thesis Abstract

This project aims to explore the ways in which language is used to construct and represent social identity. It will investigate how individuals and groups use language to express their social identity, including factors such as nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, and social class. The project will employ a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze linguistic data and examine the relationship between language and social identity. By shedding light on the linguistic representation of social identity, this study seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between language and social dynamics.
