This project aims to investigate the profound influence of language on the construction and negotiation of social identity within diverse social and cultural contexts. Language serves as a primary means through which individuals express, perform, and assert their social identities, encompassing aspects such as ethnicity, nationality, gender, and social class. Through an interdisciplinary analysis drawing from sociolinguistics, psychology, and cultural studies, this study seeks to explore how language use, linguistic practices, and communicative strategies shape the formation and representation of social identity. By examining the impact of language on social identity, this project aims to provide valuable insights into the complex interplay between language and the construction of individual and collective social identities.
