This project aims to explore the role of language in the performing arts through a comparative study of linguistic expression in different theatrical traditions. By examining the ways in which language is used in performance, this study seeks to shed light on the unique communicative power of language in the context of live artistic expression. Through a combination of textual analysis and performance ethnography, this project aims to contribute to our understanding of the interplay between language, culture, and the performing arts.
