Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and the definition of key terms. The chapter establishes the foundation for the study, highlighting the importance of investigating the relationship between social media, language evolution, and communication patterns. Chapter Two consists of a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on the influence of social media on language evolution and communication patterns.
