Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the role of cooperatives in promoting diversity and inclusion within the context of fair trade practices. The study will investigate how cooperatives engage with diverse stakeholders, including marginalized communities and small-scale producers, to ensure equitable participation and representation in fair trade initiatives. By examining case studies and conducting interviews with cooperative leaders, the research seeks to identify best practices and challenges in fostering diversity and inclusion within cooperative fair trade networks. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of how cooperatives can advance social justice and economic empowerment through their commitment to fair trade principles
