Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the role of cooperatives in preserving and promoting cultural heritage within the context of cultural industries, such as crafts, arts, and traditional knowledge. The study will examine how cooperatives contribute to the economic development of cultural sectors while safeguarding intangible cultural heritage and supporting local artisans and cultural practitioners. By analyzing case studies of successful cooperative initiatives in cultural industries, the research seeks to identify strategies for sustainable cultural entrepreneurship and community-based cultural preservation. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of how cooperatives can serve as catalysts for the revitalization of cultural traditions and the empowerment of cultural communities.
