Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and key definitions used throughout the thesis. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review, covering ten key aspects related to co-operative enterprises and their impact on local economic development.
