The increasing global demand for sustainable energy sources has led to a growing interest in the production of biodiesel as an alternative to fossil fuels. This study focuses on investigating the effect of process parameters on the production of biodiesel from waste cooking oil using heterogeneous catalysts. The utilization of waste cooking oil as a feedstock for biodiesel production not only addresses the issue of waste disposal but also contributes to the sustainability of energy resources. The research begins with a comprehensive review of relevant literature to establish the current state of knowledge on biodiesel production, process parameters, and heterogeneous catalysts.
