This project aims to investigate sustainable process design strategies for the production of specialty fertilizers with a focus on minimizing environmental impact and resource utilization. Specialty fertilizers play a crucial role in modern agriculture, providing targeted nutrients to enhance crop yields and quality. The project will explore innovative process pathways, raw material selection, and process intensification techniques to develop sustainable and efficient production methods for specialty fertilizers. Life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis will be employed to evaluate the environmental and economic performance of the proposed process designs. The project outcomes will contribute to the development of environmentally friendly and economically viable solutions for specialty fertilizer production.
