The project focuses on the investigation of sustainable process design principles for the production of specialty catalysts. Catalysts play a pivotal role in numerous chemical processes, and the demand for specialty catalysts with enhanced activity, selectivity, and stability is increasing. This project aims to explore innovative process pathways and technologies that align with sustainability principles, including the use of renewable feedstocks, energy-efficient synthesis routes, and waste minimization strategies. The findings will contribute to the development of more sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches to specialty catalyst production, addressing the growing need for greener and more efficient catalytic processes.
