Financial literacy is a crucial life skill that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about managing their finances. However, research has shown that many individuals, including students in secondary schools, lack adequate financial knowledge. This thesis explores the potential of using technology to enhance financial literacy education in secondary schools. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of incorporating technology-based tools and resources in teaching financial literacy concepts to students. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 offers a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on financial literacy education, technology integration in education, and the impact of technology on learning outcomes. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sample population, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the development and implementation of technology-based financial literacy interventions in secondary schools.
