Thesis Abstract

This project aims to explore the integration of cybersecurity measures in the design and operation of smart buildings. With the increasing connectivity of building systems and the rise of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, the vulnerability of smart buildings to cyber threats has become a critical concern. This project will investigate best practices for securing smart building infrastructure, including network security, data encryption, access control, and threat detection. The research will also address the challenges of implementing cybersecurity measures in legacy buildings and propose strategies for ensuring the resilience of smart buildings against cyber attacks.
