Thesis Abstract
Community engagement is essential for creating built environments that truly reflect the needs and aspirations of the people they serve. This project aims to explore the principles and practices of community-engaged design processes in the context of urban and rural development. The project will investigate successful examples of community-engaged design, analyze the benefits and challenges of such approaches, and propose strategies for integrating community input into the design and planning of built environments.
