This research project aims to investigate the effectiveness of online quizzes in promoting biology knowledge retention. Online quizzes have become increasingly popular as a formative assessment tool in education, offering benefits such as immediate feedback, self-paced learning, and increased student engagement. In the context of biology education, online quizzes can be used to reinforce learning, assess student understanding, and promote knowledge retention. This study will examine the impact of online quizzes on biology knowledge retention and explore the relationship between quiz performance and long-term retention of biological concepts. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of online quizzes as a learning tool in biology education and inform instructional practices for promoting knowledge retention
