Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the impact of cooperative learning on student understanding of genetics. Cooperative learning is an instructional approach that promotes student collaboration and active engagement in the learning process. This study will investigate how cooperative learning strategies can be effectively implemented in biology classrooms to enhance student understanding of genetics concepts. The research will involve the implementation of cooperative learning activities in a biology classroom, followed by data collection through pre- and post-assessments, observations, and student surveys. The findings of this study will provide insights into the effectiveness of cooperative learning in promoting student understanding of genetics and offer practical recommendations for incorporating cooperative learning strategies in biology education.
