Thesis Abstract
This project aims to investigate the effectiveness of concept mapping as a learning tool in enhancing biology education. Concept mapping is a visual representation technique that helps students organize and connect their knowledge of biological concepts. The study will involve a sample of high school students who will be divided into two groups one group will receive traditional instruction, while the other group will engage in concept mapping activities. The students' learning outcomes, including knowledge retention and understanding of biological concepts, will be assessed through pre- and post-tests, as well as qualitative measures such as interviews and surveys. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing literature on effective teaching strategies in biology education.
