Thesis Abstract
This project aims to analyze the influence of outdoor education on student understanding of ecological concepts in biology. Outdoor education provides students with hands-on experiences in natural environments, allowing them to observe and interact with ecological systems. The study will involve a group of middle school students who will participate in outdoor education activities focused on ecological concepts, while another group will receive traditional classroom instruction. Pre- and post-tests, as well as qualitative measures such as observations and interviews, will be used to assess the students' understanding of ecological concepts. The findings of this study will contribute to the understanding of the benefits of outdoor education in biology learning.
