Thesis Abstract
Protein ubiquitination is a post-translational modification that plays a crucial role in regulating protein stability, localization, and function. Dysregulation of protein ubiquitination has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. This project aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the biochemistry of protein ubiquitination, focusing on its mechanisms, enzymes involved, and functional consequences. Through a combination of literature review, experimental techniques, and data analysis, this study will contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying protein ubiquitination and its implications in disease pathogenesis
