Through a comprehensive literature review, this study explores the historical background and theoretical underpinnings of both traditional art and digital technology, highlighting their unique characteristics and contributions to the art world. By analyzing existing research and artworks, this thesis seeks to identify the key trends, challenges, and opportunities that arise from the fusion of traditional and digital art practices. The research methodology employed in this study involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including case studies, surveys, and interviews with artists and experts in the field. By examining a diverse range of mixed media artworks, this research aims to identify the techniques, tools, and processes that artists use to integrate traditional and digital elements in their creations.
