Thesis Abstract

Access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet many regions around the world face water scarcity and lack of access to clean water sources. Desalination, the process of removing salt and impurities from seawater, has emerged as a potential solution to address this issue. However, traditional desalination methods are energy-intensive and rely heavily on fossil fuels, contributing to environmental degradation. This project aims to design a solar-powered desalination system that utilizes renewable energy sources to produce clean water efficiently and sustainably. The system will incorporate solar panels, energy storage, and advanced desalination technologies to optimize energy usage and minimize environmental impact.
