The conservation of endangered species is a critical concern in today's world, as many species face the threat of extinction due to various factors such as habitat loss, climate change, and human activities. Maintaining genetic diversity within these populations is crucial for their long-term survival and adaptability. This research project aims to investigate the effects of different breeding strategies on genetic diversity in endangered species. By analyzing genetic data from captive breeding programs and wild populations, this study will assess the impact of various breeding techniques, such as selective breeding, outbreeding, and genetic rescue, on the genetic diversity of endangered species. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of different breeding strategies in preserving genetic diversity and inform conservation efforts for endangered species.
