Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the growing global demand for animal protein. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are extensively reared for meat production. The feeding strategies implemented in broiler production significantly influence growth performance and overall productivity. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted through a comprehensive literature review, experimental trials, and data analysis. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a detailed literature review encompassing ten key aspects related to broiler nutrition, growth performance, and feeding strategies. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including the experimental design, sample collection, feeding regimes, data collection methods, statistical analysis, and ethical considerations. The experimental trials compared the effects of various feeding strategies on the growth parameters of broiler chickens over a specified period. In Chapter 4, the findings of the study are discussed in detail, examining the growth performance metrics such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rates across different feeding strategies. The results highlight the significant influence of feed composition, nutrient balance, feeding frequency, and feeding duration on the growth performance of broiler chickens. Chapter 5 presents the conclusion and summary of the project thesis.
