Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The poultry industry plays a significant role in meeting the growing demand for high-quality protein sources worldwide. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are specifically bred for meat production and require optimal feeding strategies to achieve efficient growth performance. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted through a series of feeding trials involving various dietary formulations and feeding regimens. A total of 300 broiler chickens were randomly assigned to different feeding groups to assess the impact of feed composition, feeding frequency, and feed additives on growth parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, highlighting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review encompassing ten key areas related to broiler nutrition, feed formulations, feeding practices, and growth performance evaluation. In Chapter Three, the research methodology is detailed, covering aspects such as experimental design, sample collection, feed analysis, feeding protocols, data collection methods, and statistical analysis procedures. This chapter also outlines the ethical considerations and limitations of the study. Chapter Four delves into the discussion of findings, where the results of the feeding trials are critically analyzed and interpreted. The effects of different feeding strategies on broiler growth performance are assessed, and potential factors influencing these outcomes are explored. The discussion also includes comparisons with existing literature and implications for practical application in the poultry industry. Finally, Chapter Five presents the conclusion and summary of the project thesis. The key findings, implications, limitations, and recommendations for future research are summarized. Overall, this study contributes to the understanding of how different feeding strategies can impact the growth performance of broiler chickens, offering insights that can inform decision-making in poultry nutrition and management practices. In conclusion, the research findings highlight the importance of strategic feeding approaches in optimizing the growth performance of broiler chickens. By identifying effective feeding strategies that enhance growth efficiency and overall health, this study provides valuable knowledge that can benefit poultry producers, researchers, and stakeholders in the quest for sustainable and efficient poultry production practices.
