Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are the most commonly raised for meat production. The growth performance of broiler chickens is influenced by various factors, with nutrition being a key determinant. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a period of X weeks, with a total of Y broiler chickens divided into Z treatment groups receiving different feeding strategies. The feeding strategies included variations in feed composition, feeding frequency, and feeding duration. Growth performance parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate were measured and compared among the different treatment groups. The results revealed significant differences in growth performance among the broiler chickens subjected to different feeding strategies. Broilers fed a high-protein diet showed superior growth performance compared to those on a standard diet. Additionally, broilers fed multiple times a day exhibited better feed efficiency and growth rates compared to those fed less frequently. The duration of feeding also played a role, with broilers provided with continuous access to feed showing improved growth performance. Moreover, the study identified limitations in certain feeding strategies, such as increased feed wastage and potential health issues associated with specific diets. Despite these limitations, the findings underscored the importance of tailored feeding strategies in optimizing the growth performance of broiler chickens. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insights into the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The results highlight the significance of nutrition management in enhancing the productivity and profitability of broiler production systems. The findings of this study contribute to the existing knowledge in animal science and offer practical implications for poultry producers seeking to optimize the growth performance of broiler chickens through strategic feeding approaches.
