Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are the most commonly raised for meat production. The growth performance of broiler chickens is influenced by various factors, with nutrition being a key determinant. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a specified period, during which broiler chickens were subjected to various feeding regimens to evaluate their impact on growth parameters such as body weight, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. The study incorporated different feeding strategies, including conventional feed formulations and alternative diets enriched with specific nutrients or additives. Chapter one of the thesis provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis. Chapter two consists of a comprehensive literature review that examines existing studies on poultry nutrition, feeding strategies, and their effects on broiler growth performance. In chapter three, the research methodology is detailed, outlining the experimental design, sample size determination, data collection methods, statistical analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. The study design involved randomized controlled trials with multiple treatment groups to compare the effects of different feeding strategies on broiler growth performance. Chapter four presents a detailed discussion of the findings obtained from the research. The results are analyzed, interpreted, and compared with existing literature to draw conclusions on the effects of different feeding strategies on broiler growth performance. Factors such as feed composition, nutrient availability, and feed conversion efficiency are evaluated to determine the most effective feeding strategy for optimizing broiler growth. Finally, chapter five provides a conclusion and summary of the research findings.
