Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing global demand for high-quality protein sources. Among poultry, broiler chickens are one of the most popular choices due to their rapid growth rate and efficient feed conversion. However, achieving optimal growth performance in broiler chickens requires careful consideration of various factors, including feeding strategies. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a period of six months and involved a total of 300 broiler chickens. The chickens were divided into three groups, each receiving a different feeding strategy Group A received a standard commercial feed, Group B received an organic feed, and Group C received a feed supplemented with probiotics. The growth performance of the chickens was monitored by measuring parameters such as body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. The results of the study revealed significant differences in the growth performance of broiler chickens fed different diets. Chickens in Group B, which received the organic feed, exhibited the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio compared to the other groups. On the other hand, chickens in Group C, which received the feed supplemented with probiotics, showed improved feed efficiency and lower mortality rates. Furthermore, the study also analyzed the economic implications of implementing different feeding strategies in broiler production. The cost-benefit analysis indicated that while organic feed and probiotic supplementation may result in higher initial costs, the improved growth performance and reduced mortality rates could lead to overall cost savings in the long run. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of selecting appropriate feeding strategies to optimize the growth performance of broiler chickens. The findings suggest that organic feed and probiotic supplementation can positively impact the growth, feed efficiency, and overall health of broiler chickens. Implementing these feeding strategies in broiler production systems may not only enhance productivity but also contribute to sustainable and healthy poultry farming practices.
