Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. Broiler chickens are among the most popular sources of meat, and their growth performance is influenced by various factors, with feeding regimen being a key determinant. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a period of X weeks, during which broiler chickens were subjected to three different feeding regimens regimen A, regimen B, and regimen C. Growth performance parameters such as feed conversion ratio, body weight gain, and feed intake were measured and compared among the different regimens. In the literature review, various studies on poultry nutrition and feeding practices were examined to provide a comprehensive background for the study. The research methodology chapter details the experimental design, sample size, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques employed in the study. The findings of the study revealed that feeding regimen A resulted in the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio, indicating superior growth performance compared to regimens B and C. However, regimen C showed a more efficient feed intake compared to the other regimens. The discussion chapter delves into the possible reasons behind the observed differences in growth performance among the feeding regimens, considering factors such as nutrient composition, feed availability, and feeding schedules. The implications of the study findings for poultry farmers and the broader poultry industry are discussed, highlighting the importance of optimizing feeding regimens to enhance the growth performance of broiler chickens. In conclusion, this study contributes valuable insights into the effects of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The findings underscore the significance of proper nutrition and feeding management in maximizing the growth potential of broiler chickens, thereby improving the efficiency and sustainability of poultry production systems. Further research is recommended to explore additional factors that may influence broiler growth performance and to refine feeding practices for optimal outcomes in poultry farming.

Thesis Overview

The project titled "Effects of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens" aims to investigate the impact of varying feeding schedules on the growth and overall performance of broiler chickens. Broiler chickens are one of the most commonly raised and consumed poultry species worldwide, making it essential to optimize their growth and health outcomes through appropriate feeding practices. The research will focus on evaluating how different feeding regimens, such as feeding frequency, diet composition, and feeding duration, influence key growth parameters in broiler chickens. By comparing the growth performance of chickens subjected to various feeding schedules, the study seeks to identify the most effective feeding regimen for promoting optimal growth and health outcomes in broiler chickens. Key aspects to be considered in the research include the growth rate, feed conversion ratio, body weight gain, and overall health status of broiler chickens under different feeding regimens. The project will also assess the economic implications of implementing specific feeding schedules in terms of feed efficiency and production costs. Through a comprehensive analysis of the data collected, the research aims to provide valuable insights into the best feeding practices for maximizing the growth performance of broiler chickens. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing knowledge in animal science and provide practical recommendations for poultry farmers and industry stakeholders to enhance the productivity and profitability of broiler chicken production. Overall, the research on the effects of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens holds significant importance in optimizing the management practices in poultry production and ensuring the sustainable growth of the poultry industry."
