The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. Broiler chickens are a significant component of this industry, with their growth performance being a key indicator of production efficiency. The use of dietary supplements has been explored as a strategy to improve growth performance in broiler chickens. This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplements on the growth performance of broiler chickens. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key items related to dietary supplements and growth performance in broiler chickens. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and statistical analysis procedures. It also discusses ethical considerations, reliability, and validity of the study. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the findings obtained from the research, analyzing the effects of different dietary supplements on various growth performance parameters in broiler chickens. The chapter explores the implications of the results and compares them with existing literature. Finally, Chapter Five offers a conclusion and summary of the project thesis, highlighting the key findings, implications for the poultry industry, and recommendations for future research.
