Abstract
The poultry industry plays a significant role in meeting the growing demand for animal protein. To enhance production efficiency, it is essential to optimize feeding regimens to improve the growth performance of poultry birds. This study investigated the effect of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of poultry birds, focusing on parameters such as body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, discussing previous studies and theories related to poultry nutrition, feed formulations, and growth performance evaluation. In Chapter Three, the research methodology is detailed, including the study design, sample selection, experimental setup, feeding regimens, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques. The findings of the study are presented and discussed in Chapter Four, highlighting the impact of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of poultry birds. The results indicate that varying feeding regimens significantly influence body weight gain, feed intake, and feed conversion ratio in poultry birds. Factors such as nutrient composition, feed quality, feeding frequency, and feeding duration play a crucial role in determining the growth performance of poultry birds.
