Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in optimizing feeding regimens to improve the growth performance of broiler chickens. This study aimed to investigate the effect of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study was conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, with three feeding regimens as the main independent variable. A total of 300 broiler chickens were divided into three groups, with each group receiving a different feeding regimen. The growth performance parameters assessed included body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. The findings of the study revealed significant differences in growth performance among the three groups. Broiler chickens fed with a high-protein diet showed the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio compared to the other groups. However, this group also had a higher mortality rate, indicating potential adverse effects of the high-protein diet. On the other hand, broiler chickens fed with a balanced diet showed moderate growth performance with lower mortality rates. The results suggest that the choice of feeding regimen significantly impacts the growth performance of broiler chickens. Therefore, careful consideration should be given to selecting the appropriate feeding regimen to optimize growth performance while minimizing adverse effects. Further research is needed to explore the underlying mechanisms driving the observed differences in growth performance among the feeding regimens. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the effect of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The findings highlight the importance of tailored feeding strategies to achieve optimal growth performance and overall health in broiler production systems. This research contributes to the existing knowledge on poultry nutrition and has implications for improving the sustainability and efficiency of poultry production practices.
