Abstract
The poultry industry plays a significant role in meeting the growing demand for meat protein worldwide. In this study, the effect of dietary supplementation on the growth performance and meat quality of broiler chickens was investigated. The objective was to determine how different dietary supplements impact the growth rate and quality of meat produced by broiler chickens. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine existing research on poultry nutrition, growth performance, and meat quality. The study employed a randomized controlled trial design, with broiler chickens divided into different treatment groups receiving various dietary supplements. The research methodology involved measuring parameters such as feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and carcass characteristics to assess growth performance. Additionally, meat quality was evaluated based on sensory attributes, such as tenderness, juiciness, flavor, and overall acceptability. The findings revealed that dietary supplementation significantly influenced the growth performance and meat quality of broiler chickens. Specific supplements demonstrated positive effects on growth rate and resulted in improved meat quality characteristics.
