Abstract
Climate change is a pressing global issue with significant implications for various ecosystems and wildlife populations. Migratory bird species are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change due to their reliance on specific habitats along their migration routes. This study aimed to investigate the impact of climate change on the behavior and distribution of migratory bird species. Through a comprehensive literature review, research methodology, and data analysis, this thesis provides valuable insights into how climate change is influencing the behavior and distribution patterns of migratory bird species. Chapter One introduces the research topic, provides a background of the study, establishes the problem statement, outlines the objectives, discusses the limitations and scope of the study, highlights the significance of the research, and defines key terms for better understanding of the subsequent chapters. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review that examines existing research on the effects of climate change on migratory bird species. This chapter explores various studies on bird behavior, habitat changes, and distribution shifts in response to changing climatic conditions. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including data collection methods, sampling techniques, and statistical analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses the study area, data sources, and variables considered in the analysis. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, including an analysis of how climate change has impacted the behavior and distribution of migratory bird species. The chapter discusses trends observed in bird populations, changes in migration patterns, and shifts in habitat usage due to changing environmental conditions. Chapter Five concludes the thesis by summarizing the key findings, discussing the implications of the study, and offering recommendations for future research and conservation efforts. This chapter also highlights the importance of understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change on migratory bird species to ensure their long-term survival and conservation.
