Abstract
Tick-borne diseases pose a significant threat to domestic animals, impacting their health and welfare. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and risk factors associated with tick-borne diseases in domestic animals in a specific region. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine existing knowledge on tick-borne diseases, their transmission, and the impact on animal health. The research methodology involved a cross-sectional study, where a sample of domestic animals was assessed for tick infestation and tested for tick-borne pathogens. The results revealed a high prevalence of tick-borne diseases among domestic animals in the specific region, with certain risk factors such as environmental conditions and animal husbandry practices contributing to the spread of these diseases. The discussion of findings highlighted the importance of implementing control measures, such as regular tick prevention and treatment, to reduce the burden of tick-borne diseases in domestic animals. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the prevalence and risk factors associated with tick-borne diseases in domestic animals, emphasizing the need for effective management strategies to protect animal health and welfare.
