However, its application in the field of veterinary medicine remains relatively unexplored. This thesis aims to investigate the benefits and challenges associated with the use of telemedicine in veterinary care. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The chapter sets the stage for the subsequent chapters by outlining the rationale and context for the study. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research and practices related to telemedicine in veterinary care. The review covers ten key areas, including the history of telemedicine, current applications in veterinary medicine, advantages, disadvantages, ethical considerations, legal implications, technological requirements, and success stories from the field.
