Abstract
Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease in dogs that significantly impacts their quality of life. This thesis explores the potential of stem cell therapy as a novel treatment approach for osteoarthritis in dogs. The study aims to investigate the efficacy of stem cell therapy in alleviating the symptoms of osteoarthritis and promoting joint regeneration in canine patients. Chapter One provides an introduction to the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review on stem cell therapy, osteoarthritis in dogs, current treatment options, and previous studies related to stem cell therapy for osteoarthritis in various animal models.
