Abstract
The use of herbal remedies in veterinary medicine has gained significant attention in recent years as an alternative or complementary approach to conventional treatments. This thesis aims to assess the efficacy of herbal remedies in treating common health issues in domestic animals. The study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of selected herbal remedies in managing conditions such as skin allergies, digestive disorders, and musculoskeletal problems in animals. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to the use of herbal remedies in veterinary medicine. The review includes discussions on the history of herbal medicine, types of herbal remedies, mechanisms of action, safety considerations, and existing research studies. Chapter 3 details the research methodology employed in this study.
