This study aims to analyze the various factors affecting student performance in online learning environments through a case study approach. The research focuses on identifying key factors such as student engagement, technology usage, instructor support, and time management that impact student success in online courses. Chapter one provides an introduction to the study, presenting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. The literature review in chapter two explores ten key studies related to factors influencing student performance in online learning environments. This chapter synthesizes existing research to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and limitations of the research process. In chapter four, the findings of the study are discussed in detail, highlighting the significant factors influencing student performance in online learning environments based on the case study analysis.
