Abstract
Cover cropping is a sustainable agricultural practice that involves planting specific crops during non-growing seasons to cover and protect the soil. This study aimed to investigate the impact of cover cropping on soil health and crop productivity. The research was conducted over a period of one year in a field setting where different cover crop species were planted and their effects on soil properties and crop yield were monitored and analyzed. The study utilized a combination of field observations, soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and statistical methods to evaluate the impact of cover cropping. The results revealed that cover cropping had a significant positive effect on soil health indicators such as soil organic matter content, soil moisture retention, and soil structure.
