This thesis explores the multifaceted impact of social media on modern-day relationships through a sociological and anthropological lens. In recent years, the pervasive influence of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter has transformed the landscape of human interactions, particularly in the realm of personal relationships. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study investigates the various ways in which social media usage shapes the dynamics of romantic relationships, friendships, and familial connections in contemporary society.
