In the contemporary business environment, the increasing prevalence of virtual teams has transformed the landscape of workplace communication and collaboration. This thesis explores the dynamics of communication and collaboration within virtual secretarial teams and aims to enhance their effectiveness through a case study approach. The study delves into the background of virtual team communication, identifies existing challenges, and proposes strategies for overcoming these obstacles to foster better teamwork and productivity. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, covering ten key areas related to virtual team communication and collaboration. The review examines existing theories, models, and best practices in the field to provide a solid foundation for the research. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures.
