This thesis examines the impact of globalization on religious practices and cultural traditions, focusing on how these phenomena have been transformed in the face of increasing interconnectedness and exchange of ideas across borders. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study explores the ways in which globalization has affected the expression, preservation, and transmission of religious beliefs and cultural practices. The first chapter provides an introduction to the topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter two offers a detailed literature review that examines existing research on globalization and its effects on religion and culture. This chapter analyzes ten key themes related to the impact of globalization on religious practices and cultural traditions, drawing insights from various scholarly works. Chapter three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures.
