This thesis investigates the influence of social media on religious practices and beliefs in contemporary society. With the widespread adoption of social media platforms, there has been a notable shift in the way individuals engage with their religious beliefs and practices. This study aims to explore the various ways in which social media impacts religious behavior, attitudes, and perceptions, as well as the potential implications for religious institutions and communities. The research begins with an in-depth examination of the theoretical framework that underpins the relationship between social media and religious practices. Drawing on existing literature on sociology, communication studies, and religious studies, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay between digital technology and religious traditions. Methodologically, this research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from a diverse sample of individuals across different religious backgrounds. Through these methods, the study aims to uncover patterns and trends in how social media is shaping religious practices and beliefs among various demographic groups.
