This thesis investigates the various strategies employed in Supplier Relationship Management to improve procurement performance within organizations. The study delves into the background of SRM, highlighting the importance of effective supplier relationships in achieving operational excellence and cost savings. By identifying the key challenges faced in supplier management and procurement processes, the research aims to provide insights into developing effective strategies to overcome these obstacles. The literature review presents a comprehensive analysis of existing literature on SRM, procurement performance, and related concepts. It examines ten critical areas such as supplier selection, supplier evaluation, contract management, risk management, and performance measurement. By synthesizing the findings from previous studies, the review sets the foundation for understanding the current landscape of SRM practices and their impact on procurement performance.
