Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computer and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit and securely retrieve information. According to King (2005), information technology refers to the management and use of information using computer-based tools, it includes acquiring, processing, storing and distribution of information. Most commonly used it is a term used refer to business applications of computer technology, rather than scientific application. The term is used broadly in business to refer to anything that ties to the use of computers. Information technology involves the development, maintenance and use of computer system, software, hardware and networks for the processing and distribution of data. Information technology is the development; implementation and maintenance of computer hardware and software system organize and communicate electronically (King, 2005).</p><p><strong>Advantages of Technology to Nigerian Breweries Plc</strong>&nbsp;Information Technology benefit the business world by allowing organizations to work more efficiently and to maximize productivity. Fast communication, electronic storage and protection of records are advantages that technology can have on the Nigeria Breweries Plc.
